Individual supervision

What does individual supervision involve?

Individual supervision offers a personalized clinical workspace focused on reviewing and understanding clinical cases. It allows for in-depth analysis of therapeutic processes, case conceptualization, and the work plan that guides intervention decisions in clinical practice.

This format facilitates reflection on the therapeutic relationship and relational aspects, as well as on difficulties that may arise during treatment, such as defenses and blockages. In this way, we can suggest possible intervention strategies and practical guidelines.

How is it done?

Duration, frequency and modality

Clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, trainees and mental health professionals interested in reviewing their clinical practice and gaining a deeper understanding of the clinical work involved in their cases.

The sessions are conducted with one of the supervisors from the INTRA-TP team and focus on analyzing cases provided by the professional themselves. During supervision, particular attention is paid to those aspects of the case that cause the most difficulty or on which the person wishes to receive clinical guidance, such as the conceptualization of the case, therapeutic dynamics, differential diagnosis, or possible intervention strategies.

Sessions usually last approximately 60-90-120 minutes, with a frequency that can be adapted to the professional's needs.

Supervision can be carried out in person or online.
