Complex Trauma and Dissociation: The Evolution of Clinical Practice

On April 23, 2026 (6–8 p.m. UK | 1–3 p.m. ET), the event “Dissociation, PTSD, and the Craft of Trauma Treatment” will take place a conversation focused on the evolution of treatment for complex trauma and dissociation, drawing on more than four decades of clinical practice.

The event, in a Legacy Interview format, will feature Kathy Steele in conversation with Jane O’Rourke, and will address the development of structural dissociation theory, the phased approach, and the risks associated with complex trauma intervention.

Dolores Mosquera and Ana Gómez will participate as special guests, sharing their clinical experience in applying these models to work with complex trauma, including stabilization processes and intervention in various therapeutic contexts.
